JDM
When you love, you give it your all even if you know you could be hurt. Loving is a risk. It is a gamble. You do things without being asked. You give yourself that could take a part of you forever. You do it without knowing if it will given back. Reciprocated. That’s why it’s called unconditional love. Loving a person makes you vulnerable. It destroys your checklists and logical reasonings. Those pre-relationship non-negotiables suddenly becomes negotiables. You adjust for your partner. You say sorry despite you are not really at fault. This is because you value the relationship more than your ego and your pride. You know you are in love when you let go of your ego and pride. Despite you are angry and hurt, you still care and think about the person. It hurts because you care so much for the person. You could not let go of the good memories you have made and shared together. You cannot easily throw those moments instantly. It hurts because your love one is now a part of your life and it feels that a part of you hurt your very self... and a part of you is now lost.
